PhytoGaia to Showcase PetGaia™’s New Research and Pet Wellness Innovation at Pet Fair South East Asia 2026

Sept 29th, 2026 – New York, USA – As the pet industry continues to evolve towards more science-backed nutrition and wellness solutions, PhytoGaia is bringing its latest pet wellness developments to Pet Fair South East Asia 2026, taking place from 28-30 Oct 2026 at BITEC, Bangkok, Thailand.

At Booth AP19, PhytoGaia will showcase PetGaia™, an award-winning, clinically-researched palm fruit extract complex, developed specifically for companion animal wellness. PhytoGaia will unveil its new findings from an 8-week randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled canine clinical study, evaluating PetGaia™’s potential for healthy skin and vibrant coat health.

The recent completed study demonstrates significant improvements across multiple clinically-assessed indicators of skin and coat health. CADESI-4 skin severity improves by 78.5%, while all dogs (100%) shows improvement in dryness and scaling. Significant improvements were also observed in pruritus (89% reduction in skin itch), erythema (80.5%) and alopecia (59%), alongside reductions in shedding and improvements in overall coat condition.

The findings provide further scientific evidence supporting PetGaia™ as a science-backed and evidence-based branded ingredient for pet nutrition and wellness solutions especially for healthy skin and vibrant coat health. A selection of finished product concepts will also be presented, demonstrating the versatility of PetGaia™ across different  pet wellness formats.

“PetGaia™ was developed with a strong focus on scientific validation, quality and safety,” said Dr. Ariati Aris, Scientific Affairs Specialist at PhytoGaia. “Our latest clinical findings provide valuable evidence on the potential of PetGaia™ for healthy skin across various skin conditions and coat health and we are excited to share these findings with industry partners at Pet Fair SE Asia”.

Derived from sustainably-sourced palm fruits, PetGaia™ is produced through a clean physical extraction process without the use of organic solvents or chemicals.
